Independent Certification of Sheet Piles

Sheet Piling (UK) Ltd has recently commissioned Exova to carry out independent certification of Japanese 'Nippon Steel' Hot Rolled Sheet Piles to verify they comply with current European Standards.

The results concluded the following with respect to Nippon Steel Sheet Piles:

Steel quality is confirmed as Grade S430GP to BS EN 10248 Part 1.
Product tolerance is confirmed to comply with the requirements of BS EN 10248 Part 2.

The independent certification of Nippon Steel Sheet Piles confirms that they comply with the requirements of current European Standards for Hot Rolled Sheet Piling.

Commenting on the certification, Managing Director John Hull said "We are delighted to receive independent certification from a UKAS accredited organisation that the Japanese sheet pile sections comply with current European Standards and are supplied in Grade S430GP steel. These piles offer a high quality and cost efficient alternative to those sections currently manufactured by European Steel Mills".
