Sheet Pile Stompper

Sheet Piling has been appointed as UK and European agents for Stabcat Inc. from Texas USA to promote its patented Stabcat Stompper which is used widely throughout the USA to install vinyl and composite sheet piles through soils, which would otherwise prove problematic for installation of such sections.

The Stabcat Stompper will be used to install 7.25m long fibre reinforced plastic piles through medium-dense granular soils and into mudstone to form a test cell, as part of a long term bio-remediation trail being carried out by Geotechnical Consultants GeoSyntec (USA) on behalf of the SABRe Group on a site in Derbyshire.

Future works planned include marina construction and cut-off walls, using both the vinyl and composite pile sections.
