Giken Sheet Pile Press Training Course
Several members of the Sheet Piling (UK) Ltd team including Giken Sheet Pile Press Operators, Fitters and Engineers, have recently attended a 3 day in-house training course provided by Giken.
The course was run by Giken’s own in-house training expert, Mr Iwai, who is based in the Giken company head office in Japan.
The 3 day course consisted of 2 days of theory outlining the latest steel sheet pile pressing technology along with the essentials for execution of press-in work. Finally, the third day involved practical training on the F201 Giken Sheet Pile Press including a demonstration of the new machine’s feature.
At the end of the course, all attendees were issued with a competency card upon completion of a practical test and theory examination.
The course demonstrates the company’s commitment to ensuring the workforce are highly trained and competent in all aspects of steel sheet pile pressing works.
