New Giken F201 Silent Pile Press Purchased
Sheet Piling (UK) Ltd have recently purchased a new Giken F201 Silent Pile Press Machine.
Capable of installing 600mm wide ‘U’ section sheet piles, the F201 Pile Press is the latest model produced by Giken Ltd in Japan.
The machine is fitted with the latest Environmentally Friendly features including Tier 3B low emissions engine, ultra-low noise levels of 62dB(A) and biodegradable hydraulic oil and grease.
An additional feature on the new generation machine is the ‘Press-In Force Control System’ which controls the up/down stroke force depending on ground conditions thereby optimising the pressing force.
The machine is pictured installing 13.0m long sheet piles for Costain at Gidea Park as part of the Crossrail project.
