NEW Telescopic Leader Rig Joins the Fleet
Sheet Piling (UK) Ltd have recently purchased another brand-new ABI TM20 Telescopic Leader Rig from ABI Equipment (UK) Ltd.
This is the third new rig the company has purchased in recent years, with the previous rigs being the hugely successful ABI TM12/15 and ABI TM20 LR Long Reach Telescopic Leader Rigs.
The new fleet of rigs have been pivotal in enabling the company to secure new project awards on various HS2 packages covering the northern, central and southern sections, together with various national road infrastructure improvement schemes.
The new ABI TM20 is equipped with the latest EU Stage V compliant CAT C18 470kW diesel engine, together with ABI’s Efficiency Drive System to ensure fuel optimisation and low emissions.
The rig is supplied with the latest MRZV 30VV variable moment, variable frequency vibratory hammer.
The new telescopic rig was immediately put to work own the A5 project for HS2 N1 and N2, pictured here on arrival at the site, then working on the HS2 project.
