Sheet Piling (UK) LTD ended 2007 with a bang due to an unprecedented surge of contract awards during December. The numerous contracts gained by the leading Sheet Piling company ensures that the company enters the New Year with around 50% of their projected turnover already secured.
Ten new contracts, with a combined value in excess of £7M were secured in the run up to the festive holidays giving the company something to celebrate when they welcomed in the New Year.
Many of the contract awards arose from valued, existing clients and include further steel intensive permanent basement contracts for Barratt London, Westfield Shoppingtowns and Balfour Beatty Group. These contracts together account for approx £6M of the secured turnover.
Managing Director John Hull said: “Naturally we are delighted to be in such a strong position going into 2008. However we are not about to rest on our laurels. We aim to win more contracts throughout the coming year, cementing our position as the leading experts in sheet piling and steel intensive permanent basements, throughout the UK and Eire.”
