Piling Works Commence at Mogden STW

Sheet Piling (UK) Ltd has recently commenced works on a major sewerage treatment work upgrade project for Black & Veatch at Mogden Sewerage Treatment Works in West London.

The works are part of a £150million project for Thames Water to reduce the amount of storm sewerage that overflows in to the River Thames during heavy rainfall.

Sheet Piling (UK) Ltd have been appointed to carry out installation of both temporary and permanent sheet piling together with associated works including steelwork bracing and ground anchors.

In total 1000Te of temporary piles and 400Te of permanent piles will be installed over a 3 month period. All of these piles were supplied from SPUK extensive stocks of both new and second hand piles.

Commenting on the contract award, Managing Director John Hull noted “We are extremely pleased to be working on such a prestigious high profile contract and look forward to a successful working relationship with Black & Veatch”.
