Tubular Piling Completed at Port of Mostyn
Sheet Piling (UK) Ltd have recently completed the installation of 6no 26.0m long 1067od tubular piles to provide support for Floating Pontoons at Port of Mostyn North Wales.
The Floating Pontoons are required as part of the Port of Mostyn appointment as the Operations and Maintenance Base for RWE NPowers Irish Sea windfarms.
The tubular piles were installed from the existing quayside in tidal conditions using an 180Te Crawler Crane, PVE40M Vibratory Hammer and temporary piling gates.
The works were successfully completed in a 2no week programme.
