Temporary Works Cofferdam completed on Isle of Man
Sheet Piling (UK) Ltd have recently completed a 35.0m x 12.0m temporary cofferdam for an Isle of Man project.
Designed by the specialist sheet piling contractor and temporary bracing frames in house design team, the sheet piles facilitated an excavation depth of up to 10.5m.
Due to hard ground conditions, the pile line was preaugered prior to installation using a Bauer RTG16 Telescopic Leader Rig.
Sheet pile installation was completed in early April 2016 and extraction works are due to commence in July 2016.
