We’re Hiring – Piling Project Manager – North East Based
Sheet Piling (UK) Limited is a leading specialist Steel Piling Contractor and we are seeking to recruit key people to assist in the future growth of the company.
We are seeking to hire an Experienced Piling Project Manager who is required for long term contract in the North East.
Piling Project Manager Duties include:
- Involvement in off-site pre-construction planning work.
- Liaising with client representative on-site.
- Management of piling site teams.
- Day-to-day control of health & safety, quality and progress.
- Responsible for delivery schedules, procurement call off and cost control.
- Day-today contract administration – Daily records, piling records and notifications.
- Ability to review and amend health & safety documents, method statements, lifting plans and risk assessments.
Key attributes and experience would include:
- Experience of tube combi-wall installation and conventional piling.
- Ability to work as a team and manage individual piling operatives.
- Organised, punctual and well presented.
- Computer literate.
- Previous experience of working for a main contractor or sub contractor in a similar site based role.
The position is full-time and envisaged to commence in March/April 2022. The anticipated duration is 6-8 months with the potential for a follow-on management role with the company.
