We have invested over £1m in what was already an extensive fleet of specialist piling equipment fleet, as well as further extending our in-house staff training programme, to ensure we can continue to provide our clients with innovative and cost-effective solutions, aligned with the needs of contractors delivering projects that will help the UK economy with its economic recovery.
We have also invested in stock, with over 6000Te of both Emirates Steel and Arcelor Mittal sheet piles available. As a sheet piling project design and installation specialist we believe it important to maintain our exceptional levels of stockholding.
We have been fully operational throughout lockdown across all of our divisions – design, estimating and construction – whilst adhering to all COVID-19 protocols. Our health and safety manager has implemented new training programmes, to ensure all employees are fully aware of the new safety regulations, and additional steps have been taken to keep staff safe.
With the full commitment of our experienced head office and operational staff, we have been able to maintain an efficient level of productivity and a continuity with regard to our planned projects. In the past few months, whilst staying compliant, we have been able to carry out major emergency repair works at two reservoir projects and also play our part in the re-development of Fulham FC.
We have also continued to work on the installation of Emergency Rescue Areas as part of Britain’s smart motorway programme, retrospectively fitting ERAs on some motorways, in accordance with new safety measures being introduced by government.
With everything running as smoothly as normal, Sheet Piling (UK) Ltd is fit, prepared and ready to go, whatever a client’s groundworks or sheet piling requirements. Due to our extensive stockholding of steel sheet piles, as highlighted, we can also react quickly to any orders that need to be fulfilled or to the needs of projects requiring speedy and cost-effective groundworks solutions.
